The boys and I headed to the tree lot to pick out our tree last weekend. I say WE picked out the tree, but it is really Mike who is very opinionated about his Christmas tree. My only two cents was to say, "Mike, that is an awfully big tree." I had a "Christmas Vacation" moment when we set it up in the living room. There was sap and pine needles everywhere....

Ha, Ha - Dustin and I had a very similar time with our first Christmas tree this year. We went and cut it down ourselves, just like the Griswalds (no snow or frozen eyes, of course), but thankfully it fit perfect in the house. We were dealing with sap for a few hours as well :)
