When do I get to play?

My bundle of preciousness Brooks is just dying to get out there and play with his big brother. He has been through 2 soccer seasons and 1 tball season with his brother since Sully turned 4. Well, Brooks will turn 4 in late July and then it will be his turn! He "practices" with Sully and Mike all the time and let me tell you what...the boy has great coordination and some natural athleticism. Watch out! In the meantime, he is constantly trying to get the attention of the "big boys" during practices and games. During our first game, I snapped this picture of Brooks. He found a ladybug and put it on a stick to take over to the dugout to show off to the ballplayers (let's be honest, 5 yr olds are easily distracted during games) and for a brief shining moment he captured all of their attention. He trotted back to me afterwards grinning from ear to ear. Sweetness, your time will soon come and we will all be watching!!
