We've started a tradition the last couple of years (schedules permitting) of going out to my boss Ralph's weekend house in Chappell Hill, TX for the Scarecrow festival. Ralph is more than just a boss, he and his wife are dear friends of ours and it is like visiting family every time we are able to go.
My "city" boys love everything about Ralph and Teresa's place. They go on hayrides, feed the animals, paint, play in the treehouse...it is really like a little kids paradise out there and the boys had such fun. You can tell that the Kirklands are super grandparents...they had so many great activities for our boys and the food, company, and accommodations were top notch.
