What a fun trip! The Holmes and Hale families headed to Gulf Shores, AL for a week of fun in the sun. Our house was right on the beach and we spent our days swimming, building sand castles, fishing, and going to the zoo. We spent our nights on the beach building a fire, making s'mores, and looking for crabs (a must for a trip w/four little boys!) Angie even found a babysitter for us through a friend's referral and we got to sneak away for an adult dinner and karaoke one night, very fun!
En route to Alabama we made a pit stop in Baton Rouge and had dinner on the LSU campus. We also stopped at the USS Alabama - fun to see, but oh so hot!! Yikes! Mama was ready to leave after about 5 minutes, but I hung in there because my boys (all three of them) were enamored w/the ship.
